About Mickey Boston and Conscious Revolutionary Hip-Hop
Who is Mic-Key Brockovich? Usually unnerved by surroundings, he tells us his story in a storm of prolific linguistics that slowly reveals itself as a fiendishly layered construction of truth and illusion. With echoes of Beckett, Poe, and Paul Bowles, Mic-Key Boston is a tale of horror and madness, storytelling and skepticism, an MC whose dizzying style lays bare the deepest layers of subconscious spirituality.
Mickey Boston (Big Brosky) is an underground hip-hop artist, activist, photographer, film maker and spoken word artist based in Montreal. His projects currently revolve around Human Rights and Civil liberties while he is currently undertaking projects concerning apartheid within the occupied territories. His works specifically delve into Indigenous struggles for land, freedom, dignity and self-determination, hearing directly from the voices and experiences of Indigenous activists like himself.
